Helen provides this service for clients who require a quick turnaround. She will supply design or planting ideas in a sketch plan in a single day.
The day will start with a walk around the garden to discuss the garden in detail and any problem areas. Helen will often discuss a number of design options with you. At the end of the day, Helen will leave a pencil drawn, scale plan of your preferred proposals. She can advise on materials, construction methods, suitable contractors (Design Solutions Day), and soil preparation, sourcing of plants (Plant Solutions Day).
How it works: All you need to do is to make an appointment, provide some photographs of your garden or border and complete a checklist to ensure Helen understands your requirements and can prepare for the day. Helen works from the client’s home who should be available for ongoing design reviews throughout the day.
There are 2 options available: a) the Design Solutions Day or, b) the Plant Solutions Day:
Design Solutions Day: This day would suit people with a new garden to help lay out the garden from scratch, or for those with an established garden, which may require some redesign if the layout is no longer appropriate to their needs.
Plant Solutions Day: This day would suit those with a new garden requiring the planning of a new border(s), or for those with a mature garden which requires re-planning if the planting is overcrowded and overgrown, lacks a strong design or interest in a particular season.
The fee for the Plan it in a Day service is £375.00 plus travel expenses.
