The client had been planning and developing this large formal garden for some 20 years and wanted some fresh ideas. The proposals included the addition of a linear pond within a hedged garden room; new seating areas; utilising the mature hedges as a backdrop to new and varied planting and the formation of a raised viewpoint offering expansive views over the Wharfe valley.
