Family garden, Middleton, Ilkley
The client wanted to link a newly purchased field, which was separated from the main garden by a parking area/ turning head, to the original garden. This was achieved by creating a new seating area at the end of the drive as a connecting space.
The children’s play area in the new field. Hardy planting adds structure and shelter.
The view from the house showing a broad path leading to the new seating area and field (play area) beyond.
The new seating area. New quarter circle steps link this area to the existing garden above.
